Horror of horrors
This morning's headline on the web is about Condoleeza Rice planning to relocate US diplomats into Asian countries, such as India.
The US is to reduce the number of its diplomats posted to Europe, and will send more to other countries, including China, India, Nigeria and Lebanon.
"America must begin to reposition our diplomatic forces around the world," Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said on Wednesday.
Let us be clear what this means - the US plans to put more of its spies and undertake more covert activities to disrupt normal life in these countries.
I hope the Indian Government will put tails on all these relocated diplomats, ensure that their phones are tapped and houses and spouses are kept under constant surveillance.
"This is where the action is today, and this is where we must be."
Rice's words are prophetic - Indian Intelligence - please take note.
