Media driven DEMOCRACY?
I posted this on The Washington Note in commenting on the entry "McCain Shakes Up and Giuliani Goes Off the Deep End":
The scarier part is not what Giuliani or anyone with such radical ideas says but that the media gives them full play of their space and time while giving people like Dennis Kucinich short shrift.
It is the media which is pushing the agenda (like the invasion of Iraq) - not what the candidates stand for!
And THAT is the fallacy of the US election system which is a far cry from DEMOCRACY!
